THYME, Snow and Thursday

Listening to THYME, with a ring of snow slowly metlting away on the floor. It's another thursday and it looks to be a long one, either way I will make sure to enjoy it somehow. Spent way to much time at a friends house last night and it got a bit late - might have to sleep during lunch XD
Ellesarath OUT!

Long time no see?

Yello!

Now as the snow falls I get sentimental and think back to great days of snowballs and hot beverages. I sometimes miss the old life - simple and slow. I used to live out in the woods, in this little town called Össjö. I didn't live *in* the town thou, but a couple of miles out in the forest from said town. Nothing ever really happened there, and during winters the snow lay so deep I could barley walk trough it :] I miss that place, and my former friends - if any of you have found my blog then I wish you a snowy winter! :)

Just one of the reasons...

Just one of the reasons is you, one of them is me and what came between.
Just one of reasons is life and opinion, unique  and changing.
Just one of the reasons is feeling alive, adventure.
The reasons are many, then why does their company not comfort me?

Physics! Science revealed

Did you know that the rotation of Earth creates a force which pulls you away from the surface?
This force is so big that for every Kilogram you weigh, 3.46g are not felt in gravitation (aka a 1000g should feel like the weight of 1003.46g) - that's 173g for a 50kg person!
This can be summarized into a 0.3% difference which for a building could be as much as  2 190 000 kg!
(facts taken from Wikipedia concerning weight of Eiffel Tower,
calculation: 7 300 000 * 0.3 = 2 190 000 (kg) which summs up to 2190 tonnes!)

This could mean that buildings all over the world, should by some wierd reason the earth stop spinning, would *collapse* that's right!

Useless but very cool knowledge! Now go freak out your friends with your new nerdy moves ;]

Exercise - results?!

Finally! My hard work at the gym has proven useful and I can now lift heavier weights, whatever that is good for :] Me and my friend Mike noticed that I have almost caught up to a classmate of mine and at this rate a win is guranteed. I don't know why that matters to me, perhaps it shouldn't, but it atleast proves to myself that hard work can pay off! as they say in Japan: Ganbaru! - Do your best!

Draw your music!

Hello readers! Sanna was here yesterday and we played some oldschool RPG game, but once we got bored (especially Sanna) we entered a really dangerous (no I mean it! STAY OUT) homepage known as Existenz.se. Out of all the sick, funny and just plain wierd things we found there was this one golden nugget - an as far as I am concerned nameless gadget. It is really funny if you have nothing to do, tha's  probably why you're reading my blog eh? ;], or just happen to feel a bit creative check it out!   Gadget :]

Oh yeah, a lil popquiz for you all!
If you could clone something - what would it be and why?
Comment, or be eaten alive by an army of mutated squirrels from Brittain! XD

Rain, thunder and a horror movie

There's alot of water coming down outside my window and for some reason me, Sanna and Erik decided to go runing in the rain. So now we are drenched and thunder is booming in the distance - it is time for a horror movie.

A flatline in the mirror

The beep beep beep, in this silent room, is like the boom boom of my heart, sound of the base,
out in this people maze, dancing moving, now feel better.
But if you turn around listen to the sound, all you hear's a funerals marching band.
We had another drink, feel your defenses sink, call for the medic but he isn't there

Somone who you held dear, who saw you nowhere, is slowly falling sinking down to the knees.
So take another bow, cause it's over now - only the Flatline awaits.

Hello London!

Well, not that it really changes much but I have lifted from the ground and soared over to London in an airplane. And yesterday I had a wierd dream, read about it in the poem section :]

Either way I am in my dads apartment right now, bowl of steaming rice infront of me, and I can't help but think of all the time I want to spend in the future. I don't know where I will spend it, but obvioulsy alot will be in school. I guess what I am trying to say is that life just feels a bit big right now, big not bad mind you, and from here on I know where the road leads me I'm just not sure I want to go there...

Where do you guys want to wander of to?
Leave a comment and let the forum know :]

Vast Water Wasteland

Wasteland, it stretches dusk till dawn, filling its own emptiness with sound.
And as the sun shines on above I walk on, clear, warm - chaotic.
Water waves will wash the wanderer where-ever it wills.
And I wander under the moon, black, cold - harsh.
Vast - no course, but a destination - I am lost.
And as time flows steady with the current.
Vast Water Wasteland, a day on the beach.

Barbeque and a busted lip

Hi readers!
I am now mutilated, or something like it. I was trying to break a fallen tree away from the stump, mistake!
I suffered a total fatality as I managed to break free said tree it whacked me across the face and a twig piereced my lower lip, and voila! I am now a certified punk rocker...  -.-
But it's looking good now thou, just a red slit below the very lip and a lump on the inside, it hurt like shit when i got it and it still hurts a bit.
But pain schmain, I have more important things to focus on! Going to the movies to see Eclipse around nine tonight, and it is going to be nice :] The first two Twilight movies haven't been that great but I heard that there's a new director (a horror movie director!) so this chapter's film might actually capture the fear and danger of the characters situation.
A friend of mine browsed the web and found this wonderful site where there's this dancing, well dude/dudess who you can control by clicking the moves below it, so hillarious! And the song played to the dance is just wonderful :]  (if you speak swedish) The dancing dude

Makoto Shinkai - She and Her Cat

For awhile now I have been in love with the stories and animations of a Japanese Animator - Makoto Shinkai. He doesn't animate in a complicated or flashy way, it is just very "clean" and done in a way that gives the movie a certain warmth. Ofcourse the storylines (most written by himself) are also contribute to this feeling. He writes of complicated love and of the relationships between people, and I think that the characters all have very good connection to real people. Either way I recommend that you check out this five minute clip She and Her Cat. If you like it then look around, he has done plenty of interesting stuff and quite a bit is very good.

I recommend these movies:

Voices of a Distant Star [Hoshi no koe]

The Place Promised In Our Early Days [Kumo Yakusoku no Basho]

and a trilogy known as Five Centimeters Per Second, which just happens to be the name of this very blogg.

No I have to go now, my dog needs a walk then I am going back to the beach - sunbathing :]
Bye readers!

I'm not dead! Am I? Ressurected Reincarnation!

Phew!
I have had a great time these past weeks. Not spending a single night at the old cottage but instead I have been rumaging aroun in my friends houses. Yes houses, slept a few nights at Marcella's, a few at Wallberg's and almost a week at Sanna's. So to those three: thanks for the stay! You are all awesome hosts :]

Dear readers, I have once again started my old playing of that infernal game: World of Warcraft. I know, death to the gamers! Right? But I just can't help it! So much fun, especially when you're playing with some awesome friends of mine - they will rock you over the cables of the internet, or something.

Broke I am now however, since I decided to throw this huge party for a friend of mine. All she had to do was confirm the guestlist, the rest (including music and bartendering) was done by yours truly! Either way we had a great time, thou some people might have gotten a bit drunk... (no names here but bootyscooting around the entire house while being a cat? Why?!)

So tell me readers - What would you do with an enormous sandwich?
Leave your interesting and creative responses below!

(I am really tired so no spellcheck t'nite! XD)

Excercise - friend or foe?

Tomorrow will see the beginning of my crazy summer project - training. You know lifting heavy stuff to no end with no other goal than muscle. Trust me, this is *not* my thing but it would seem that it is popular. Besides I had this very uncomfortable feeling once: I had gotten myself into a situation where I might have to fight to defend someone else (had it only been my I'd have ran away). But as I stood there I realized that there was nothing a person untrained in either strength or hand to hand combat could do. It was both scary and frustrating. So here I am a bit nervous about the call I am supposed to receive at 10 in the morning with my pal Mike calling me out to the gym. He's awesome thou so I think I got my back covered, anyway if I have results before and after pics will follow! XD (celebration times! my first smiley since blog start!)

Fear not! Wonder friends are here!

But what do you know? I found some friends to hang with and we saw that Tim Burton movie - Corpse Bride. The animation is wonderful, and most of the side characters are just amazing. I do however find that the main characters (The groom, Living bride Victoria, and Dead bride Emily are some what boring and dull).
Either way I had a great time when it seemed all hope was lost.

Take the Tour!

So where do I live?
Perhaps not the question being disscussed in the news but maybe some of you might be interested. Which ever the case I am *bored* so I thought that I would show of my room (after it has been cleaned a bit ofc). *starts cleaning* *stops cleaning* *stops writing (sorry ^^)*

24 hours later...
I have taken the frickin pictures now, but can't find the cable with wich I could connect the camera to my computer so it will take even longer. Still under progress thou!

I'll be back!

Futilty and Triviality

Spent yet another day accomplishing nothing.
Went to a friends house where we ( a group of 5 nerds) engaged in a round of a game known best as Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay - aka an RPG. Sure we had fun, but somehow we never really got playing. And it is always like that, we sit there for hours on end but we never actually "play" the game, we just lull around with complicated rules and a weird world.

Not exactly enthusiastic about tonight either, probably going to be spent alone, I know I need the relaxation but I just feel so stressed out when there's no one interesting around. Ever feel like that?
Times like these I dread when I will live alone - sure I wanna get outta home sometime, but when I do I think I'll move in with a friend somewhere. Being alone just doesn't fit me.

Gotta get doing something, perhaps I'll bake again? Cya readers!

A frosting fail but taste explosion - Meet the nougaty mess-chocolatecake

So I actually did end up baking, and I don't just mean baking!
There is this Swedish style chocolatecake in which you aim to do as little as possibble yet get that soft, almost sticky chocolatemass. I topped it with a sliced pear, orangemarmelade-whipcream and a thin stick of nougat chocolate.
Wanna bake this cake? Messy chocolatecake
Just add sliced pears and whipped-cream.
Chocolate optional.
Sorry for the bad resolution and quality,
haven't set up my camera yet.

School is out, but all I can think about is baking

Today I started my summer vacation, surprisingly I have decided not to party but to stay home, bake and watch a movie. There is just something about baking that soothes me, can't really grasp why but ever since me and my friends started baking quite often I find myself caught up in it. Besides, how could you resist the kitchen when you know the oven could produce beauties such as these:  Better Than Sex Chocolate Cupcakes

I actually had to pause here and just look and imagine the smell of these artistic cakes.

However you need some very special ingredients for many of them and I have yet to even try baking a single one, but as soon as I can get my hands on a really nice recipe I will buy ingredients and bake a cupcake worth to die for!

Now, loud music and some old fashioned chocolate cake is going in the oven, t minus 30 minutes!

Me, Myself and I

I would not say I am someone in particular, I walk trough life as everyone else. Not that this is in anyway a bad thing, I would argue the opposite. You see life when moving at 5cm/s is great.
Friends are of course a large part but between hanging out, studying and having a freak out at the occasional mess in my room I enjoy the privacy of my thoughts as they keep me company trough the day. They sing to me, perhaps telling a quick joke every now and then, I guess my point would be the keep on top of the mood curve, except for at lunch - they gotta have a break sometime eh?

Me - that selfish little bastard always has a sneaky input on life. Telling me to pick up that coin from the ground or perhaps that it would be really nice to have that cookie someone is crunching on. I try to suppress him and it gets tedious, but if it wasn't for him I wouldn't know when someones in the wrong now would I?

Myself is probably what Me and I are all about, the combination of the two, the one sitting here writing, for some reason dreaming about a world where I don't have to use these clumsy keys to put down letters and craving a glass of randomly chosen cold drink.
